Start to finish.......

Day 27 to Day 30

Now into the finishing straight.........

Day 27

The decorator came and did the final coat of paint on the wall as well as the skirting boards and door frames.


Day 28

We spent most of the day moving back in today as well as having a couple of viewings!!


Day 29

The tiler came back and grouted the tiles today.


Day 30

The last big piece of the jigsaw was installed today - the cooker hood. The ducting is not finished - I hope!!!!! The radiator was also re-fitted too.

Day 25 and Day 26

Another update...... The original sink was faulty when it arrived so was later being fitted than expected. The tiling was a mid-project change of plan by us but as you can see - it looks good!!

Time for some finishing touches to the kitchen and some more work in both the utility and toilet.

Day 19 to Day 22

We can now finally see the final shape and size of the kitchen now that we have the worktops in place...

Day 20

Today we had the final coat of paint put on the ceiling and we went kettle shopping. No pictures this time...

Day 21

Today we went tile shopping as you can tell from yesterdays post asking for opinions on what colour to go for. We also ended up with a Purple 12 piece dinner set, a Black 12 piece dinner set and some purple mugs.

Kay also got a new phone but that is not really anything to do with the kitchen!!!

Day 22

The cupboard handles went on and the electrician came to do the second fixing.

Now for some really sad pictures of sockets, switches and fittings!!
